The Kennedy Center’s Community Services

Currently a gentleman farmer, William Deyesso is a business executive with experience in the finance, insurance, and real estate sectors. In addition to his professional work, William Deyesso has long been active in charity work with organizations such as the Kennedy Center.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, the Kennedy Center is a social services organization located in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Founded in 1964, the organization operates programs that include elder care, childhood education and daycare, poverty relief, and community services.

Community services at the Kennedy Center are managed from the organization’s Community Resource Center (CRC) at 55 Bunker Hill Street in Charlestown. Open Monday through Friday, the CRC provides senior support, positive parenting classes and support groups, public assistance support, financial literacy training, and many more resources. Career services at the CRC include help with Internet job searches, as well as assistance with resume and cover letter creation and interview prep. Another of the centers services is emergency support offered to individuals in immediate need of housing, transportation, clothing, or food.
