The American Cancer Society (ACS) recently announced a partnership with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in developing an online tool to help those who have survived cancer. The tool, dubbed Springboard Beyond Cancer, was designed as a way for those dealing with treatment symptoms to find help and support. It’s also a platform for survivors to get the tools they need to manage stress, plug into support communities, and cultivate a healthy lifestyle.

Researchers have found that upwards of 90 percent of those who have survived cancer deal with sleep issues, stress, and fatigue on a regular basis. Additionally, more than half of these survivors have expressed strong interest in any sort of efforts to help them be more active and improve overall nutrition. With these factors in mind, ACS and NCI collaborated to develop the Springboard Beyond Cancer website.
